The Guinness world record for the tallest cake pyramid measured 1.74 m (5 ft 8.5 in) and was achieved by MTR Rzeszów International Fair (Poland) in Rzeszów, Poland; the cake weighed a total of 720.8 kg (1,589 lb 1 oz).
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest bottle cap pyramid, made of 308,945 caps and built by 12 schoolchildren at the Krasnystaw Cultural Centre in Krasnystaw, Poland.
"In my life, people have always told me I can't do something and I wanted to prove them wrong. I wanted to join the Book of World Records, so I found something that I could do and I went ahead and did it," creator Tom Haffey said.
"The initial idea came about in August and I started collecting pennies and started [building] in November and finished just at the end of January," he said.
