Largest wall calendar:Kharagpur students sets world record (Video) Kharagpur, WB , India -- With the celebration of the diamond jubilee of iit-kharagpur, the students of IIT- Kharagpur have created a wall calendar measuring 260 ft x 20 ft - setting the new world record for the Largest wall caleandar, according to World Record Academy (www.worldrecordacademy.com).

The Guinness world record for the largest wall calendar measured 12.19 m (40 ft) x 36.58 m (120 ft) and was manufactured by Manmohan Agarwal and Anuj Kucchal (both India).
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest advent calendar: 71 m (232 ft 11 in) high and 23 m (75 ft 5 in) wide, built at St Pancras station, London, UK.
The World's Largest Wall Caleandar contain the photos of all the iitkgp students in their respective date of birth.
The different parts of the massive flex material were printed separately but with a new technology, they were made into one single piece.
Professor-in-charge Prof. B.K. Mathur along with student team leader Avanish Kumar told that the calendar is a symbol of all the students being together as a family and the calendar being a milestone in the diamond jubilee celebration.
