Largest hamburger: 338-pound burger sets world record (Video)
SOUTHGATE, MI, USA -- Mallie's Sports Grill & Bar of Southgate, Mich., made a 3-foot tall, 338-pound (153-kilogram) "Absolutely Ridiculous Burger" costing $2,000 - which sets the new world record for the Largest hamburger commercially available, according to World Record Academy (www.worldrecordacademy.com).

The Guinness world record for the largest hamburger commercially available weighs 267.62 kg (590 lb), and is available for $4,500 CDN (£2,839) from Chef Events Canada Inc.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the most expensive hamburger commercially available is THE Burger and was available on the menu of Burger King (UK) for £95 (US$186). The limited edition burger was sold in the Gloucester Road restaurant, London, UK.
The Largest commercially available hamburger in the world consists of 15 pounds of lettuce, 30 pounds of bacon, 30 pounds of tomatoes and 36 pounds of cheese.
It is also available with a portion of fries and a drink.
