The Guinness world record for the most people keeping beach balls in the air is 401, achieved by Cedar Point (USA) in Sandusky, Ohio, USA.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the most surfers riding a single surfboard: 47 people who simultaneously rode a scaled up surfboard measuring 12 m (39 ft 4 in) in length at Snapper Rocks, Queensland, Australia.
Sunscreen had to be applied continuously for two minutes to qualify for the event.
This effort eclipsed the previous Guinness World Record of 675 set in Belgium.
Panama Jack donated the packets of sunscreen for the participants.
In addition to the world record, the world record attempt also helped raise money for a good cause.
Participants could purchase discounted tickets to the park.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Northern Ohio Chapter of the American Cancer Society.
