Longest boodle fight: Philippines breaks Guinness World Records record (VIDEO)
LAOAG CITY, Philippines -- Laoag City has set a new world record of longest boodle fight beating Camarines Norte's previous Guinness World Records record; residents took at least 30 minutes to consume the food set on 4.858 kilometer-long tables, setting the new world record for the Longest boodle fight,
according to the World Record Academy: www.worldrecordacademy.com/.

The Guinness World Records' record for the largest pillow fight consisted of 4,201 participants and was organized by Super 8 (USA) in Brookings, South Dakota, USA, on 22 November 2014.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest snowball fight; it was achieved by 5,834 participants at an event organized by Seattle Snow Day (USA) at Seattle Center, Washington, USA, on 12 January 2013. The community feast was composed of Igado, Pinakbet and plain rice. It was made of 2,607 kilograms of raw meat; 2, 607 kilograms assorted vegetables; and 40 cavans of rice.

Participants lined both sides of the table and started eating when the tables were opened at 5:45 p.m.. The simultaneous feasting ended at 6:15 p.m.
Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos had joined Laoag City Mayor Chevylle Fariñas and Vice Mayor Michael Fariñas in leading more than 30,000 people in the record-setting event.
