Largest sock monkey-world record set by Cherylle
Douglas
MERRITT,
B.C., Canada -- Cherylle Douglas has sewn together
a 2.7 metres height, 23 kilograms sock monkey-made from 32
pairs of the woollen socks-setting the world record for the
Largest
sock monkey.
The world
record sock monkey is similar to the popular children’s
toy made with a grey-bodied, red-heeled work sock.
It has already been invited for a beer at
a local bar and, since it stands nearly one metre taller than
the average man, the southern Interior B.C. woman believes
it could pass for her boyfriend.
