Pasta Sauces created-world record set by Chef Marco Ragnacci

16] BANGKOK,Thailand--Chef Marco Ragnacci worked non-stop over a
period of six hours and twenty minutes to create his new world record
of 422 sauces during a world record breaking event at Central Food
Hall, 7th floor of CentralWorld Plaza.
Chef Marco Ragnacci created his sauces with dark
and white chocolate, Mascapone cheese and Parma ham or with gold
foil, caviar, Gorgonzola cheese with pear, artichoke and almond,
and a host of sauces involving different varieties of seafood.
All pasta sauces were sold and the proceeds went to
The Thai Red Cross Society. Many celebrities enjoyed the fun of
tasting and donating for their favourite pasta dishes.

Cross Society, marked the opening by putting pastas in a boiling
water pot.
Mr. Martin Reed, General Manager of Sofitel Centara
Grand Bangkok and Mr. Ian Pye, President of Central Food Retail
Co.,Ltd. jointly organized the Pasta Sauces Wizard, world record
breaking event at Central Food Hall, 7th floor of CentralWorld Plaza.

whose culinary specialty is making hundreds of different kinds of
pasta sauce. With the expertise and skill gained in a lifetime’s
career, Chef Marco has developed an outstanding talent for the cuisine
of his native Italy.
He is well known in Italy and internationally
especially for his pasta sauces, and can make them in more than
700 styles. He knows them so well he doesn’t even need to taste
them before serving. All he does is choose the ingredients that
will suit for each dish, blend them in the right proportions, and
a brand new pasta sauce is born.
