Largest human letter: Kuweit breaks Guinness World Records world record
KUWAIT CITY, Kuwait -- Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) set a world record by forming the largest human letter 'K' with the participation of 910 citizens and residents, according to the World Record Academy; the event was part of the company's celebrations of Kuwait's national festivals, head of KOC's media team Mohammad Al-Basri said in a press statement, adding that the company's entry in Book of World Records is an addition to Kuwait's international achievements.

The Guinness World Records' record for the largest human letter consists of 910 participants and was achieved by KOC company (Kuwait) in Kuwait City, Kuwait, on 25 February 2015. The participants formed the letter K.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the largest human currency symbol; it consisted of 300 people and was achieved by the bank ME by TMB (Thailand) as part of their project "Wake up your money with ME", in Bangkok, Thailand, on 2 August 2014.
The event was part of the company's celebrations of Kuwait's national festivals, Mohammad Al-Basri, head of KOC's media team, said in a press statement, adding that the company's entry in World Records Book is an addition to Kuwait's international achievements.
This large gathering of people is a simple expression of love to Kuwait, Al-Basri said, expressing his gratitude to everyone who participated in and contributed to achieving this record.
Established in February 1934, the KOC is the oldest and largest oil company in Kuwait.
Its activities include exploration operations, on-shore and off-shore surveys, drilling of test wells, and developing of producing fields, in addition to crude and natural gas exploration, producing around three million barrels of oil per day.
