Longest maple bar: Brigham Young University students set world record
PROVO, Utah, USA -- Students at Brigham Young University connected smaller pieces to form a 1,328-foot-long Cougar Tail which sets the world record for the Longest maple bar (Longest Cougar Tail); the maple-frosted doughnut bar is a BYU staple only available at basketball and football games,
according to the World Record Academy: www.worldrecordacademy.com/.

The Guinness world record for the for the Longest Ice Bar measures 24 feet tall and 208 feet long.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the longest chocolate bar: it measured 13.15 m (43 ft 1.7 in) long and 1.2 m (3 ft 11.2 in) wide and was achieved during an event organised by Filippo Lazzarin (Italy).
Students helped eat the treat, which snaked around long tables in a large room.
The $3,000 expected to be raised by the doughnut will be donated to Community Action Services and Food Bank, helping to supply roughly 50,000 pounds of food for families in need.
The pastry was a product of the alumni association, the dining department, and students in a communications management class, who took on different roles coordinating the project.
