ABU DHABI, UAE -- ROGO's, a new roller-coaster-themed restaurant, opened in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates; the joint ferries food to customers along looping and twisting tracks right to their tables; more than 30 roller coaster tracks transport food and drinks, kept in closed pots to prevent spilling, around multispiral, double loop and tornado tracks; the 14,000-square-foot establishment in Yas Mall seats 378 people, making it the largest roller-coaster-themed restaurant,

  The Guinness World Records' record for the largest revolving restaurant is Bellini, located on the 45th floor of Mexico City's World Trade Center. The restaurant has an area of 1,044.66 m² (11,244.58 ft²). The restaurant has a capcity for 332 people and was originally opened in 1994.

  Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the highest revolving restaurant in a building; it is Twist, which is situated at a height of 422.8 m (1,387 ft 1 in) on the 106th floor of the Canton Tower, Guangzhou, China.


  Abu Dhabi-based food and beverage firm The Roller Coaster Restaurant has launched ROGO's, a roller coaster inspired casual dining concept in the emirate's newly-opened Yas Mall.

   The 14,000-square-foot establishment in Yas Mall seats 378 people, making it the largest roller-coaster-themed restaurant, according to its creators, think tank HeineMack GmbH.

  "Each table has its own individually designed roller coaster track and a unique silent delivery system that thrills diners as they get to watch their food make a gravity-defying 360-degree journey to their table," Jessica Wadih al-Absi, the chairwoman and CEO of restaurant operator Group JWA, told Gulf Business.
